Vizag City Skater boys going to represent India in Cambodia


Vizag resident Priyam Tated and his brother Pratham Tated studing IX class, they have been selected by the Cambodia Ice Skating Federation to play and represent India in the Combodia National Figure Skating Championship, programmed to be held from April 5-7 at Phnom Penh.

Persons who take part in the games from as many as 11 countries including Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and China will be participating international championship.

From India, around seven skaters will be participating in the international championship from different categories of the competition. Pratham and Priyam Tated will be participating in the Basic Novice B sub-junior category (13-15 years).

“In skating competition most of the skaters who execute at figure skating competitions prefer lifts, spins, jumps and spirals. Present a special style iam going to perform double axel and triple mape in the competition.

While iam performing I remember always few technical elements while performing at national and international competitions”, Priyam told to press.

Mahendar Tated, Secretary of Sivaji Park Skating rink Association expressed in Malaysia from April 2-4 special training sessions will be held where coaches from Russia will train the skaters.
