Sahithi won 3 gold medals in Asian Chess Championship-2018
It is the best moment for Moogi Sahithi Varshini she won two gold medals plus a bronze medal in Rapid, Blitz and Classical formats respectively in the Asian Chess Championship – 2018 category under 12.
Sahithi won three gold medals in the Classical, Rapid and Blitz team events in individual events.

Sahithi Varshini participated in the 10 days long event completed escort by her father cum Coach M. Lokeswara Rao at Chiang Mai in Thailand on Tuesday.
Sahithi eligible for the Woman FIDE Master title now that she won a gold medal in the Classical format of the tournament, she earned 7 points in both classical and blitz events from a maximum of 9 expressed Mr.Lokeswara Rao.
After first rounds of loss in the classical format, Sahithi scored over Nguyen Le Cam Hien from Vietnam to appear champion in the last round.
India in the top place
As a part of the events (team and individual), India placed the top position won 35 gold medals, silver medals and 14 bronze medals in the tournament.
