Poorna Malavath sets her eyes on Mount Everest


Poorna Malavath, the youngest girl in the world to overcome the Mount Everest, organizing up for her fourth journey. This time, the 17-year-old from Nizamabad has set on eyes on the Mount Vinson in Antarctica.

Poorna, when she was 13 years and months old, scaled the Mount Everest in 2013. She has also scaled Kilimanjaro and Mount Elbrus. Poorna and her coach Sekhar Babu are now preparing for their fourth journey, to Antarctica.


We will start our expedition to Mount Vinson by December-end or January next year,” my goal is to journey all the seven summits.

Poorna Malavath and her instructor Sekhar Babu were present at the time of the screening of the movie ‘Poorna – Courage has no limit’, at VUDA Children’s Arena on Saturday.
