On Friday, experts from NIT Warangal visited the NAD area where a flyover will come up.
Guided by NIT Director and expert in civil and structural engineering N.V. Rama Rao, Prof. Prasad (Transport) and Prof. Rajesh (Structural Engineering), VUDA Vice-Chairman P. Basanth Kumar made a field visit the flyover area.
The whole stretch and markings of piers were inspected and many plans put forward for consideration that could be implemented came at the period of visit. The NIT is made a critical examination the design of the double rotary flyover proposed at NAD.
VUDA is demanding on a field visit to take up for changes required which is not possible to take them up later.
Mr. Basanth Kumar said to the press the experts will go back to the Warangal and they will return with necessary changes within a couple of days.
The aspects, for which changes are needed, fall in Phase II and Phase III of the project. The work will start on April 2 on one pier the Vice-chairman expressed.
One aspect that presented with a special attention was arms of the bridge and the service road is required. The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for the flyover, the estimated cost Rs.113 crore, in October.
