In Visakhapatnam, there are going start the construction of the sports stadium with the international standards and satellite township. The Ministers have decided to hand over the job of acquiring lands for the construction of the township and stadiums to Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) in the cabinet meeting at Amaravati.
The surveys regarding the land information had already completed by the revenue department. Now the work started on acquiring and construction process by VUDA.
In the outskirts of the city, the satellite township was located. The intersection of five villages of three mandals in the district would be constructed. This project includes Aganampudi in Gajuwaka Mandal, Nanginarapadu, and Gangavaram in Sabbavaram Mandal and Pedamushidivada and East Marripalem in Parawada Mandal.
A sports complex over a 150-acre area was also expected. In the township, the budget of the houses will be in reasonable. Land surveys and a team of tehsildars had concluded recently by the VUDA. 898.47 acres at Gajuwaka Tri Junction and 149.77 acres at Kommadi, total of 1048.24 acres of lands has been estimated for the acquisition.
