Heavy Temperatures let the Candidates Skip Electioneering


As the General and Assembly Elections were gaining speed, Candidates of various parties were busy in impressing the voters. However, most of the candidates were skipping the afternoon campaigns due to heavy temperatures in the City.

The Temperatures in the City have been increased to 35°C from the past two weeks. The Heavy temperatures in the city not only forcing the people to stay indoors, but also the politicians to skip the meetings during this time.

Many MLA Candidates from different regions like Gajuwaka, East, West, and North as well as several MP candidates were skipping the meetings between 10 am to 3 pm.

Most parties were conducting the Campaigns early day at 6 am, Where they interact with morning walkers and employees leaving for their jobs.

Campaigns were organized from 6 am to 8 am, usually preferred areas were parks, Rythu Bazars, and grounds. The next schedule again starts at 4 pm due to heavy Heat.

Daily wagers were demanding a huge amount in Mornings compared to Evenings. The daily wage in the Evenings would be Rs. 400 and Rs. 700 in the mornings. Moreover, additional water packets and cool drinks were added said one party member.
