In the Vizag city outskirts at cinamushidwada, the state government is going to start Industrial Training Institution (ITI) with the amount of Rs.5.2 crores which is issued in the budget released on Monday. Under the scheme of skill development in 47 districts which is sponsored by the central government, the vocational training institution was allocated.
The demand drive vocational courses are the objective of the scheme, which is formulated to create skill development infrastructure in LWE ( Left Wing Extremism) affected districts. The courses are offering in both long-term and short-term to fulfill the requirements of the skilled manpower of various sectors in the region.
After the launch of the ITI, they will design some tailor-made courses for the need of local industries. In the recently launched Aspirational Districts programme, Visakhapatnam has also been included in it. To improve the key performance indicators of the district the union and state government will make coordinated efforts under the initiative. They will spend around Rs.3 crores for the construction of the ITI buildings and RS. 2 crore on the hostel buildings.
