555 km relay walk educate students on ‘safe and unsafe touch’

A ralley walk from Visakhapatnam to Amaravati the CII-Young Indians (Yi) Visakhapatnam Chapter, in association with The Vizag 5 AM Club, has undertaken a 555 km to create awareness among school children on ‘safe and unsafe touch’. The walk was flagged off by CII AP Chairman R.V.S. Rudraraju, Yi Vizag chapter chair K.V.T. Rameshon the Beach Road.

Child abuse

To create awareness about the concept of safe and unsafe touch, the programme is being organized as a part of the Project ‘Masoom’ initiated by the CII Yi with the objective of sensitizing school children on different forms of child abuse (physical, verbal or visual) expressed organizers.

About safety from such abuses at school, home, or outside the programme can help the children.

Around 55 members are participating in the six-day relay walk, the walkers will also cover 100 schools on the way and will educate10,000 students en route to Amaravati and each member will walk for a minimum of 10 km, the walk will conclude on September 30.
