Ahead of the Partnership Summit-2018 this month-end, VUDA will add range of attractions to the recently started TU-142 aircraft museum. The aircraft museum, which was started on December 2017, was an immediate crowd with Vizag people and tourists, the visitors will be more than 4,000.
During the vacations, the aircraft museum has large queues with visitors trying to get towards the front attraction of the city. At present VUDA planning to maintain it in a spick and span situation by give over the maintenance works, which also covers the technical aspects, to private company. The aerobridge constructed at the exit of the aircraft will be turned horizontally to the lift facility at the surroundings.
In recent times, the museum got the flap gates and three more simulator games at the game zone. On Monday, Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority administered a meeting with TU-142 designers’ team and Navy officials to discuss the maintenance of U-142 and improve for the Kurusura submarine.
P Basanth Kumar Vuda vice-chairman expressed that they will provide AV room amenity at the TU-142 aircraft museum. “As the content is two-dimensional, we have planned to play it on a screen through projector rather than playing it on virtual reality headsets. The museum has an interactive audio facility.
After completion of strengthening process, a team comprising structural engineers from Andhra University, submarine technical officer and naval constructor will join in the hull inspection of the
submarine. “On the lines of TU-142 aircraft museum, we would like to hand over all maintenance works of the submarine to the AMC agency to address all problems. The technical attributes were missing in AMC. We want to maintain the submarine through the AMC,” expressed basanth kumar.
