Cash Crunch ATMs With Long Queues in Vizag


The people of the state are yet to get a complete break from the cash crunch. Time and again many ATMs displays ‘no cash’ boards, Making the people look out for the ATMs distribute cash and long queues there for cash withdrawals.

The state level bankers committee will have a meeting with the RBI highers to discuss the cash crunch in the state on Wednesday expressed Rao. At present the vizag situation is no changes around 70 percent ATMs in Seethammadhara, Akkayyapalem, NAD Junction, Old Jail Road, Dabagardens and Siripuram displaying ‘no cash’ boards. ATMs allot cash had long queues.

“I went to many ATMs more than ten but no use. The ATM near Old Jail Road was working but had a long queue. It is time taken to with draw money” told Anitha staying in Siripuram.

Bankers told continuous holidays and panic withdrawals turn the position. Number of bank highers were seen urged the customers not to take more money in vizag.

Many restaurants, malls and departmental stores have swiping facilities, some people faced problems because purchasing provisions from small shops.

Many customers return without purchasing the reason is the cash in small denominations are also short in supply. Expressed by a shop owner near Akkayapalem.
