The four women of diverse gang – a police woman, an architect, a staffer of the United States consulate, and a business systems analyst. Their aim was promoting Indian tourism across the world and they hailing from Hyderabad have come together to embark on an ambitious journey spanning countries.
The women aim to promote Indian tourism through an international bike expedition to extend of seven countries in 50 days.
Starting from Hyderabad through various Indian cities and then entering Bangladesh and other ASEAN countries of undertaking a motorcycle expedition of this four-member women bikers’ team.
The women team will covered by 350-400 kilometers per day depending on the terrain and weather conditions.
In Visakhapatnam on Monday the team was arrived, comprises Jai Bharathi, ASD Shanthi, Piya Bahadur and Shilpa Balakrishnan.
In the age group of 35-40 years of the women, they would be covering almost 17,000 km on Bajaj Dominar 400 CC bikes and would visit 19 Unesco World Heritage sites in the course of their tour.
