The Transport Department and Traffic Police are now cracking the length of cord fastened to a handle on the riders who customize their motor bikes with different features for a special effect.

According to the Central Motor Vehicles Rule 120 (2), the maximum allowable noise level of a 2 wheeler is 80 decibel. There are eight manual noise monitoring stations cover over the city, along with Gajuwaka, Jagadamba, NAD junctions and Maddilapalem. "Other than this 2 real time noise monitory systems are placed at Indira Gandhi Zoological Park and Siripuram junction,” expressed Environmental Engineer of Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board R. Lakshminarayana.
