Visakhapatnam is the new coming hub for the technology. Now it is also going to be a hub for cancer research too. The name of the park will be ‘Vyas Cancer Park’. The aim of the parks is to create an ecosystem for science. It would be put Vizag on the global map.
Plans and Progress
Vizag was going to be the place for women entrepreneurs announced by early in this year. Specifically the hub was created for this purpose. It will promote women entrepreneurs to join specifically from the Saarc region. Five acres of land was allotted for the same. These are all part of the plan to make Vizag a destination for technology and science.
There are 350 acres of land will be allotted for the park of cancer research with the require investment are Rs.3,035 crore. The park will not only promote promising cancer research. It will also useful for employment for thousands of people. To make the park a reality from around the world the state government is tying up with experts.
On 17th and 18th February a conference to discuss for the park and cancer research will be conducted. A team from the America-based company, Elixsys will be visiting Visakhapatnam to discuss the project further.
In three days the ‘Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Partnership Summit’ will also be taking place in Vizag. The summit will be held starting February 24th.
Plans like these have received much encouragement from the chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu. There are Two American companies have already agreed to be a part of the IT hub, Conduent Inc. and Franklin Templeton.
This kind of large-scale infrastructure will definitely make Visakhapatnam popular for business and entrepreneurship.
Vizag is no more going to be a destination only for tourism along India’s coastline. It will also be a destination that will encourage business and technological progress not for Visakhapatnam alone, but for India as well.
