Visakhapatnam is preparing to be host for the third Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) partnership summit which will be held on next month for three days that is from February 24th 2018.
The state government showing very positive response for the summit from Indian investors and foreigners. According to officials, this time the summit will highlight the investment in the tourism, food processing industries and in logistics.
The event is to be held by CII in association with the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Government of India and the state Andhra Pradesh Government.
“The response is quite encouraging as we have started the registration process already. We are expecting partnership with the governments and top industrialists from Japan, South Korea and Germany. Negotiations are going on,” Said by a senior official.
The first edition of the summit got 328 MoUs signed with an investment of total Rs. 4.67 lakh crore. The second summit attracted 665 MoUs with a proposed investment of Rs. 10.54 lakh crore. The CII showing priority areas to facilitate and attract the investments by bringing the stakeholders and promoting network to create novel business models.
