GVMC Chief Had Told Vizag People For No Bhogi Fire in Public Places


M Hari Narayanan, the GVMC commissioner announced for Vizag people not to attempt for the Bhogi Fires at public places, parks and roads. If any one goes against, there would be a stringent action.

The Bhogi Fires could be place with limited at specified locations. We request to cooperate Vizag people as citizen duties to keep the environment as clean and sanitation in the city. He said on Thursday.

Hari Narayanan participated in activities regarding to the cleanliness rally in in previous days conducted at RK Beach in the morning. Narayanan said they have been under the all action to achieve to improve the rank in “Swachh Survekshan 2018”. “We request the public to dump the trash only in dump bins and dust bins placed in all over the city. We have been working to create awareness along with the public via all communication mediums about on cleanliness. We request the public to give the segregated waste to sanitation workers,” he said.

Notwithstanding that warning, The Sankranti fervour has set in several colleges, schools and different educational institutions with gaiety and pomp on Thursday according to the times of india news.

And also Private Organization’s also conducted several events, adding a color to the festivals. Many youngsters had a gala time at RK beach area with many colorful flying kites.
