Shreyas Keshwani is died after being beaten up by senior students at Sri Chaitanya Junior College hostel.
A group of police from Vishakhapatnam visited the father of victim Shreyas Keshwani. The PM palem police station in-charge led the group later they visit the hospital in Buvaneswar and Rourkela where the student underwent treatment.
Sri Chaitanya Junior College, located at Marikavalasa visited by a team of Sambalpur police for investigation in association with the Visakhapatnam police. The college authorities had declared ragging to be the reason behind the death of Shreyas, earlier on Tuesday.
Gopi Krishan, chief administrator of the college he said that” as first year students were staying in the Hostel, in which Kesharwani was staying, there was no chance of ragging”.
Few days ago at the college hostel Kesharwani allegedly ragged by his friends. The family members alleged he was beaten up by three to four students without gap critical injuries.
Kesharwani family members brought the matter to the college authority notice. But the college management did not take any step. The later Shreyas family members brought Shreyas back to home.
Kesharwani was admitted to a hospital in Rourkela for treatment later shifted to Bhubaneswar. Shreyas died at the hospital last Saturday while he is underwent treatment.
