At the Visakhapatnam Naval Dockyard, a fire that broke out on board in the mighty Indian navy ship INS Shivalik.
The Indian navy ship “INS Shivalik” while it was came into a dock at Vishakhapatnam Naval dockyard, fire tooks on board of the ship yesterday. The frigate was under the progress with much sound as the fire could extinguished only after six hours. And fire break out location was found from one of the store room. The war ship was anchored on the evening for regular maintenance, the fire broke out suddenly from the stationary material compartment.
The INS Shivalik, Indian Navy ship has reported with no loss of life or casualties and any loss or damage of materials thankfully. Indian navy official has enquired already and has been put in the progress as per news report.
About latest war ship INS Shivalik: INS Shivalik is the first stealth warship built in India as The lead ship with multi-role frigates. She built the ship at the Mazgaon Dock Limited in Mumbai. Construction of the vessel began in 2001 and was completed in 2009 and she was commissioned on 29th April 2010.
