To improve the women entrepreneurship in the Visakhapatnam, IIM partnered with the N S Raghavan Centre at IIM Bangalore (IIMB) by signed in with a MoU in the nation-wide women startup program.
IIMV’s involvement in the program will improve the growth of women entrepreneurship by facilitating in-depth training in entrepreneurial skills through incubation, mentoring and financial support.
The Program has been launched at Bangalore by the NSRCEL of IIMB on Monday that is funded by Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) , the Department of Science & Technology (DST) and the Government of India.
The WSP will provide the training for over 12,000 women through Massive Open Online Course (MOOCs), “Do Your Venture” on 22nd January and 3rd March, 2018.
Boot Camp 1:
300 ventures will be shorted for a boot camp at partner campuses which is near to them to receiving of classroom instructions on communications and customer interaction.
selected 100 women entrepreneurs for a second boot camp at IIMB will receive classroom instructions on business developing plan, understanding costing and pricing, marketing sales, and negotiation skills.
Incubation: After Boot Camp-2, women will have their business ideas that will be incubated at a partner campus on their choice for duration of one year with the financial assistance.
