“Bookaholic” is a platform where one can share, exchange or get books to read. It acts as a medium between donors and readers of books.
It make sure the books are issued or exchanged properly and also timely return of the books. We do this free of cost.
Bookaholic’s first ever exhibition and meet up “Meet & Greet” had been organised successfully at Cafe Madhurai, Lawson’s Bay Colony, Visakhapatnam, AndhraPradesh on 30th Sept 2017. The event had started by 04:30 PM with the inauguration of Book Exhibition. People from various professions and interests had curiously participated in this event.
The Meetup started with an introduction speech by CEO, Samvedh Vegi. The speech included the evolution, execution, current status & future plans of Bookaholic.
It is followed by an influencing speech by a public speaker Mr. Ravi Teja who has explained how a Book can affect a person’s life by giving examples of successful people along with his personal life experiences.
After the introductions, the group of 30 members had been divided into two groups namely “Fiction” and “Non- Fiction” and then the team had conducted an activity named “Picture Puzzle” in which each team has to guess the book through the clues given to them in the form of Pictures. The competition went on in an interactive way.
Later the gathering was asked to discuss their favourite books and why. Everyone had keenly shared their views on their favourite books and it was knowledgeable for the others. Later, again the teams were asked to play dumbsharads with Book names and they had enjoyed with the activities conducted by Bookaholic team.

The book lovers who attend the event were very much impressed by the way the meet up went on and they were happy that they could meet their likeminded people on this platform. They had also asked the management to organise more events of this kind.

Team Bookaholic had promised them that there would be a meet up atleast once in a month.
The gathering was dispersed by 8:00PM after some of the books from Bookaholic’s collection were given away for sharing. The readers were asked to return the books within a time frame of 15days.
Team Bookaholic were happy to hear positive responses from the readers.
