“As a result, rivers are depleting and it severely hit agriculture sector,” he added.

Expressing concern on the suicides of farmers, he said that three lakh farmers committed suicides in the county. “It is not a joke. It shows that condition of the farmers, who provide food to the people of whole country” he said.

The spiritual guru also said all the rivers in the country have depleting water levels. The enforcement system should be implemented to protect the rivers instead of accusing others, he opined.

Reacting sand mining operations, he said that he might face life threat, if he talks more on the issue.

He said that water is depleted to 61 per cent in Krishna River and other rivers were also facing the similar situation.

Expressing satisfaction on his Rally for Rivers, he said that all the Chief Ministers of the states have also been joining hands to save rivers.

He said that he would start a Yoga University in Visakhapatnam. He commented that he would not start yoga centre for real estate purpose.
